Bizkaia Talent kicks off the sixth edition of the Be Basque Ambassadors programme
- 50 students from up to 20 countries will take part in a new edition of the Be Basque Ambassadors programme whose aim is to create loyalty towards the Basque Country amongst international students.
The sixth edition of the Be Basque Ambassadors programme is already underway. On the 8th November Bizkaia Talent gave a welcome at BBK Kuna to the international students who are currently carrying out their studies at UPV/EHU Basque Country University, Deusto University, Mondragon University, IED Kunsthal Bilbao and DigiPen Institute of Technology.
The aim of this programme is to create lasting links between the foreign students and the Basque Country, accompanying them in their professional and personal development, connecting them to Basque culture and introducing them to companies in the corporate, scientific and technological ecosystem of the province of Bizkaia.
Over the course of the programme, which will last 8 months, the students will attend training workshops, participate in sociocultural events and visit companies in key sectors. Furthermore, and as a new feature in this year’s edition, the participants of the programme will have the opportunity to take part in Be Basque Talent Meeting events where they will get to know at first hand the professional opportunities and value proposals offered by Basque organizations.
Students from diverse backgroungs
50 students from the following 20 countries around the world will take part in this sixth edition of the programme: Germany, Andorra, Bolivia, Chile, China, Colombia, South Korea, Cuba, Ecuador, United States, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
