Bilbao Ekintza enters into agreement to join the Be Basque Dual Career Centre

The municipal organization Bilbao Ekintza has signed the agreement to join the Be Basque Dual Career Centre and collaborate in the evolution and development of the bizkaia talent service, which offers advice and personalized guidance to couples of highly-qualified professionals in order to achieve their adequate professional and personal integration in our Country.

Bilbao Ekintza is a municipal organization which promotes the generation of economic and social wealth for Bilbao, by promoting the city as an attractive destination for investment as well as business creation and growth and by enhancing employment opportunities. Moreover, it intends to lead the economic development and international positioning of the city by fostering the growth of the local companies and supporting growth and access to new markets.

RESPONSE TO A MAJOR NEED

At the end of 2015, bizkaia talent, aware of the need to support couples of highly-qualified professionals in their labour and socio-cultural integration in the places of destination in the Basque Country, set up and launched the Be Basque Dual Career Centre in order to provide an effective and productive response to this need.

“This service implies a competitive advantage for Basque companies with regard to nearby countries, since they have direct and personal access to highly-qualified professionals with an international profile and career” said the managing director of bizkaia talent, Ivan Jimenez.
