Bizkaia:talent will develop the programme Basque-American Talent & Leadership after the agreement concluded by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Pete Cenarrusa

During the mission in July to Idaho, USA, the President of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Unai Rementeria and Ivan Jimenez, the managing director of bizkaia:talent, presented the programme Basque-American Talent & Leadership Route: the leaders of tomorrow.
The Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Pete Cenarrusa Foundation (an organization involved in promoting and financing Basque culture in Idaho), entered into an agreement for the development and exchange of knowledge concerning the business, scientific, technological, institutional and cultural reality between the Basque Country and North America within the programme Basque-American Talent & Leadership Route to be developed by the Association bizkaia:talent.
Likewise, through direct contact on site with the most important organizations and institutions, this programme intends to create a community of highly-qualified participants with high professional growth potential from both territories and promote the development of their talent and leadership with a link between both places throughout all their career.
Between 2 and 6 participants per country will take part in the programme and the requirements include the need to be from Bizkaia and/or USA/CANADA, have at least one university degree, at least 10 years work experience and be 28-45 years of age. A high level of English and Basque is also required for those who are going to participate from Bizkaia.
