Bizkaia Talent launches its digital Career Development Centre, an innovative and unique tool on the global stage
- The professionals registered with Bizkaia Talent and the Be Basque Talent Network will have access to totally personalized digital counselling to progress in their professional careers in the Basque Country, consult current salaries and make other comparisons with other countries and regions around the world by means of quality of life indicators
Bizkaia Talent has launched a new and innovative digital tool which contributes towards the design and development of people’s professional careers. The tool in question is the Career Development Centre, the world’s first platform of this type for the sole and exclusive use of registered users of the Bizkaia Talent and Be Basque Talent Network platforms.
By means of the handling of millions of data obtained from another Bizkaia Talent tool, the Basque Talent Observatory, which has analysed over 70,000 highly qualified job offers in the Basque Country over the last 15 months, the professionals will be able to apply to the job offers which are the most closely suited to their profiles and see which transversal skills and technical expertise are most in demand by the companies in which they can progress, as well as the evolution of the latter over time with respect to the posts and/or working occupations selected.
The tool will enable the user to compare wellbeing in the Basque Country with that of any other country and/or region in the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), providing indicators for areas such as education, accessibility, housing, health, disposable income or the environment, amongst others, thus offering a realistic picture of the Basque Country with respect to quality of life both inside and outside the workplace.
Registered users will also be able to take advantage of access to a section devoted to salaries, where they will be able to consult the average rate of salaries in the Basque labour market by carrying out highly specific searches by sector, sub-sector, post and experience.
Finally, it should be stressed that there will be a section directed at those professionals who wish to take a new direction in their careers. By simply selecting the post and/or occupation that they wish to aspire to, the tool will provide a series of skills by way of recommendation which the user should acquire in order to make progress in terms of achieving his or her goal.
Mr Ivan Jimenez, the Managing Director of Bizkaia Talent, has expressed his satisfaction at the inauguration of this new tool which will be very useful to over 11,000 professionals: “With this new tool we continue with our strong commitment to innovation and technology to facilitate the development and linking of talent with the Basque Country, positioning our organization and nation as an international benchmark in terms of talent management”.
