Bizkaia Talent launches the new updated version of the Career Development Centre
- This improved version for the design and development of professional careers will show users professional opportunities adapted to their professional profile, together with net salaries and fiscal advantages
Bizkaia Talent has launched the second version of its tool, which is both innovative and unique in the world: The Career Development Centre. The tool has been created for professionals registered on the Bizkaia Talent platform and will provide them with totally personalized digital counselling. The principal novelties of the new version are that it will enable users to examine trends in the Basque labour market over the last four years both by sector and area of education, visualise work opportunities applied and adapted to their profiles, consult average gross and net salaries in the Basque Country (by area, sub-area, post and experience) and have access to detailed information about the tax exemptions applicable to certain professionals who live abroad but are considering coming to live and work in the Basque Country.
By means of the handling of millions of data obtained from another Bizkaia Talent tool, the Basque Talent Observatory, which has analysed over 70,000 highly qualified job offers in the Basque Country over the last 15 months, the professionals will be able to see which transversal skills and technical expertise are most in demand by the companies in which they can progress, as well as the evolution of the latter over time with respect to the posts and/or working occupations selected.
The tool will enable the user to compare wellbeing in the Basque Country with that of any other country and/or region in the European Union and with regions of the countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), providing indicators for areas such as education, accessibility, housing, health, disposable income or the environment, amongst others, thus offering a realistic picture of the Basque Country with respect to quality of life both inside and outside the workplace.
Finally, it should be stressed that there will be a section directed at those professionals who wish to take a new direction in their careers. By simply selecting the post and/or occupation that they wish to aspire to, the tool will provide a series of skills by way of recommendation which the user should acquire in order to make progress in terms of achieving his or her goal.
