Bizkaia Talent gathers together the international community to see out the year
- 70 people took part in the end-of-year party held at BBK Talent Home in Bilbao.
After a two-year absence as a result of the pandemic, on the 16th of December Bizkaia Talent once again held its now traditional end-of-year party with the international community. This activity is offered within the framework of the Relocation & Be Basque Dual Career Centre service and its purpose is to foster the socio-cultural integration of people who come to the Basque Country from every corner of the world.
The BBK Talent Home in Bilbao brought together international research workers and highly qualified professionals, who, together with their families, enjoyed an agreeable evening which included the customary gastronomic competition featuring the typical dishes of each of the countries represented at the event. In short, it was an event of meetings and reunions which enabled the participants to swap experiences and interact with other cultures in an intimate family atmosphere.
A total of 70 people from 16 different countries took part in the activity. The countries in question were Albania, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Ukraine, Venezuela and Spain.
Be Basque Ambassadors also said farewell to the year
The participants of the current edition of the Be Basque Ambassadors programme, international students who are currently involved in postgraduate or PhD studies in Bizkaia, also celebrated the end of the year, in their case in BBK Kuna where they enjoyed a cocktail and raised a toast of Christmas cheer.
