- Users of the world’s biggest travel platform consider the San Sebastian beach to be in the world’s top three in the Travellers’ Choice Awards.
La Concha beach in San Sebastián has achieved new international recognition on being named the third best beach in the world according to the Travellers’ Choice 2024 ranking of the popular travel website Tripadvisor.
The choice of the winners of the Travellers’ Choice Awards is based on the quality and quantity of the opinions and scores of travellers published on Tripadvisor over a period of 12 months, as well as from the findings of an additional editorial process.
Located in the beautiful bay of La Concha, the beach has become an emblematic destination for travellers visiting San Sebastian. Its huge expanse of sand and the stunning background of city and mountain make La Concha beach a truly spectacular place.
An Italian and a Portuguese beach, the best in the world
In this edition of the Travellers’ Choice Awards two European beaches occupy the top two positions; Olhos de Água beach in Portugal (Praia de Falésia) heads the ranking, followed by Lampedusa beach in Italy (Isola dei Conigli) in second place.
