Bizkaia Talent holds an end-of-year party with the international community
- Over 70 people attended the event at the BBK Talent Home in Bilbao to see out the year.
On the 15th December Bizkaia Talent held its traditional end-of-year party in Bilbao with the international community. Attending the party were users of the Relocation and Be Basque Dual Career Centre service (highly qualified professionals, research workers and their families, who have settled in the Basque Country for work-related reasons), together with international students who are studying at one of the Basque universities.
The event took place at the BBK Talent Home in Bilbao where the participants enjoyed an agreeable evening complete with a gastronomic competition featuring typical dishes from each of the countries represented. In short, it was an event of meetings and reunions at which the participants could exchange experiences and learn about other cultures in a cozy and friendly environment.
People from 20 countries participated in the activity: Afghanistan, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Iran, Italy, India, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic, Romania, Russia, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Spanish State.
This was the seventh sociocultural activity which has taken place over the course of the year 2023. The aim of these events being the sociocultural integration of people arriving in the Basque Country from all over the world.
