The first edition of the “Employee Journey & Experience” finalizes successfully

- 23 Bizkaia SMEs have taken part in this training experience, in which they have been provided with technical and practical tools to enable them to deepen the strategic management of their emplooyees.
Bizkaia Talent and Talent Garden have successfully concluded the first edition of the training program “Employee Journey & Experience”, which over a five-week period has offered 23 Bizkaia SMEs a full immersion in strategies for the effective management of the life cycle of their employees, from initial attraction and onboarding through to loyalty creation. This hybrid program is part of the “Bizkaia with the talent” initiative promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
The program commenced on the 3rd of October with a presential workshop in BAT – B Accelerator Tower, where the participants were introduced to the bases of the employee experience (EX) and to the importance of placing the employee at the centre of the strategy to improve his or her satisfaction and productivity.
Throughout the month of October, the SMEs received three learning pills focused on the experience of the candidate, the employer branding and onboarding. These sessions enabled them to understand how each stage of the employee journey can have an influence on the perception and commitment of employees.
On the 29th of October, in a presential dialogue space, the participants shared their experiences and learned from successful cases, while on the 6th of November in an online retrospective they reflected on their learnings and on the next steps to take in their talent management processes.
Once the program had ended, the participating SMEs stressed the value of adopting a comprehensive perspective of the employee journey to improve both the commitment and satisfaction of employees and their attractiveness as employers in the labour market. Furthermore, the exchange of experiences and the collaboration amongst companies have been highly rated since they provide practical and innovative approaches which can be applied directly to their work teams.
