IKERBASQUE HAS LAUNCHED A NEW CALL OFFERING 20 POSITIONS FOR POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

These positions are financed by the Basque Government, the European Commission and the host institution where the researcher will develop his/her research:

Bilbao, January 2018 – IKERBASQUE has launched a new call of the Research Fellows 2018 Programme. Thanks to this initiative the Basque Government aims to promote a youth high-level researchers’ “pool”.

This call provides competitive opportunities to Basque researchers who want to develop long-term careers in the Basque Country. It is intended that at least 30% of the positions will be awarded to candidates who have obtained their PhD in a Basque university, have graduated in a Basque university, or who have lived in the Basque Country 10 or more years.

Researchers from all over the world, any knowledge area, and with a 3-10-year research experience can apply online at IKERBASQUE web (www.ikerbasque.net) until 15th March.

IKERBASQUE offers 5-year contracts according to the Science Law. Fellows in their 5th year can be assessed for a permanent position. The selected scientists can develop their career in all knowledge areas, such as Experimental Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Science and Medicine, Mathematics and Engineering, Social Science & Humanities.
