The “Labo-Talento for SMEs” programme kicks off to promote STEM talent in the province’s companies
- Fifteen small and medium-sized Bizkaia companies will take part in this edition
Bizkaia Talent has launched “Labo-Talento for SMEs”, an innovative programme designed specifically to train SMEs in Bizkaia in effective STEM talent management (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and which will provide the participating companies with the necessary tools to face the challenges posed by the current labour market and enable them to stand out in an ever-increasingly competitive environment.
This initiative, which started on the 28th of February, is framed within the “Commitment to Talent” strategy of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and has been developed in collaboration with 12 leading SMEs in Bizkaia, with the support of various clusters, business organizations, training centres and companies.
Fifteen SMEs from Bizkaia will take part in this first edition of the programme which will last for several weeks. During this period, the SMEs will participate in various experiential, collaborative and practical sessions, in which they will be able to explore current trends in the labour market, learn from examples of good practice in other SMEs, identify opportunities which are applicable to their own companies and design a personalized roadmap to strategically approach STEM talent management.
