RESEARCH PROFESSIONALS ABOUT TRANSNATIONAL MOBILITY
EURAXESS is a European Commission (EC) initiative that promotes mobility and professional career development for research professionals with the aim of making Europe a leader in terms of scientific excellence.
Bizkaia Talent (Local Contact Point of EURAXESS), as a services centre and Career Development Centre, provides information, advice and personalized assistance regarding visas, work permits, salaries, health care, social security, accommodation, schooling, language courses, career development, and the organization of events for the sociocultural integration of the international research professionals collective. It also provides support for the partners of international professionals (Be Basque Dual Career Centre) and information about opportunities for financing research work at the European level.
Since 2007, Bizkaia Talent has been actively supporting researchers and their families to overcome the practical obstacles that they encounter when moving to/from/within Europe, and easing their social and work place integration, in our case, in the Basque Country.
