Bizkaia Talent presents the fourth edition of Talentia Challenge
2019/12/20
- 35 young talents are to work together in resolving the challenges proposed by five Bizkaia organisations
Bizkaia Talent continues to make a firm commitment to promoting the region’s young talent, and to ensure this, in collaboration with several important Bizkaia organisations and with the sponsorship of the Caixa Bank Foundation, it has presented a new edition of the Talentia Challenge programme which will commence in January and last for five months.
The aim of the initiative is to promote and stimulate conditions and processes for the attraction, retention and connection of highly qualified people with our region by enabling the participants to come face to face with authentic company challenges.
In this fourth edition, Biolan, Elecnor, Fineco, La Caixa and Zunibal are the five companies which are presenting their respective challenges. In order to find solutions to these challenges, 35 young talents will work in five multidisciplinary teams made up of varying profiles and academic backgrounds. In this way, the contribution made by each group member will complement those of the others, allowing the challenges to be faced with an integral approach.
The teams will all have their own team coach who will help the youngsters, accompanying them and guiding them throughout the entire process. Furthermore, they will receive training sessions from specialised tutors in order to guarantee a continuous training experience and on this occasion, they will make a study trip to Barcelona, like the study trips to Cambridge, Berlin and Turku (Finland) of the last three editions.
Highly positive assessment
Both the young talents and the company representatives evaluated the first three editions very positively. So much so, indeed, that after the last edition which took place between January and June 2019, the young participants stated that the programme helped to accelerate their professional development and integration into the business world. Furthermore, 100% of the companies involved stated that they would recommend participating in the programme.
