The University of Deusto (UD) provides the best lecturing and tutoring in Spain and Mondragon University (MU) rises to fifth place in the 2015 U-Ranking conducted by the Valencian Institute for Economic Research and the BBVA Foundation amongst Spain’s 45 Universities. The University of the Basque Country excels in research. Furthermore, Mondragon University is, according to this study, the best Basque university in the field of technological innovation and development, and is ranked third.
Overall, the report shows that the public universities are rated highest in research productivity and in technology transfer by their University systems, while the private ones excel in lecturing and tutoring.
