The EPI 2015 report produced by the prestigious Swedish Language School Education First points to the Basque Country as the place where English is best spoken in the Spanish State.
The study, which is conducted every year, states that the Basque Country heads this ranking with 61.94 points, closely followed by Navarre with 61.28. Both of them stand ahead of Catalonia, with 59.65 points, whereas Madrid settles for the fourth position. In any case, the ratings correspond to regions with a very high level of English.
A medium-high position below countries such as Norway or Finland but above some other important nations such as Germany, France or Italy. They all stand far from Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark, which have nearly reached bilingualism.
